Mike Fisher and his wife Gloria currently reside in Limerick, Pennsylvania; a small community outside of Philadelphia and west of Valley Forge with their youngest son, Bryan. Served the nation for 12 years in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard as a Photographer.
Mike spent his entire career in business, predominantly in the corporate and commercial real estate industry. Initially started in the Facility Department of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority. As a purchasing agent of railroad materials to maintain the Philadelphia subway and trolley network. After receiving my undergraduate degree, he transferred to the Authority’s Legal Department as a Real Estate Inspector – Negotiator. He was promoted to a Real Estate Acquisition Specialist, becoming a member of the internal legal team to purchase the right of way of the former Reading and Penn Central Railroad systems in the Philadelphia Metro area. As a Real Estate Acquisition Specialist I developed my property management and negotiation skills further while acquiring property for capital projects and implemented various property management programs for more than 350 railroad properties with several hundred miles of right of way.

As a team leader, Mike has put together teams to successfully completing projects that ranged from single to multi-use developments. He has always taking the lead along with the responsibility of a team leader in various projects assigned to him. He has earned the respect his team members and other professionals in the industry for being straightforward, dealing with all in a fair and honest way with a vision to see the project to completion.
In his career Mike has enter into unknown areas to further the company’s objectives for growth. For KFC, he took on the challenge of the New York City market to develop the first five restaurants in the city and the boroughs in four years all on time and on budget. He opened the first Pep Boys auto parts stores in the New England market while developing new stores throughout existing markets in the mid-Atlantic area. For the Western Auto Parts America concept, he was the first team member who helped develop in five years a 590-store chain from a single concept store meeting corporate goals and profit requirements. Most recently, Mike was the Vice President of Real Estate for Friedman’s Jewelers in their emergence from bankruptcy in 2005. Mike has worked for other national companies such as Blockbuster, McDonald’s, Checker’s Drive Thru Restaurants and Value Place, LLC an extended stay hotel chain. Currently, he is working with RealMarq Corporation scouting properties as a prefer developer in the Northern New Jersey markets.
In 2001 Mike returned to school to earn a Master’s of Science Degree in Information Sciences from Pennsylvania State University; advancing his business skills while developing new technology skills needed in the workplace today. A personal belief that all individuals must continuously develop themselves in new skills to achieve their best in their careers and personal life. To meet that need he has taught business management undergraduate courses on campus for the University of Phoenix in Philadelphia and Harrisburg.
